Noel Reyes

Noel Reyes was raised in New Jersey, where he attended public schools. While a student at Brown University, his work with high school students in the Providence community inspired him to pursue a career in education. After graduation, he moved to Boston to become a part of BTR’s Cohort 4. Noel taught high school Humanities at Urban Science Academy in the West Roxbury for four years, and is now teaching at TechBoston Academy in Dorchester.

About my students:

Which one? Unique is the only word that can describe them all. Generally speaking, they care about their future, have a deep sense of morality, are creatively stylish, have a clever sense of humor, and are willing to share their food with me.

About BTR:

I most value the relationships I have built with incredibly talented and inspiring educators. They pick me up and push me forward.

Random thought:

Oh, it makes me wanna holler / And throw up both my hands.
