Grace Kelemanik, Clinical Teacher Educator for mathematics, works part time co-teaching the secondary math methods course and supporting residents in their school placements.  When she is not with BPE, Ms. Kelemanik works as a mathematics consultant to districts and schools grappling with implementation of the Common Core State Standards and support of English Language Learners in mathematics classrooms.  Ms. Kelemanik has designed and delivered numerous professional development offerings including the Developing Mathematical Practices in Algebra course for the state of Massachusetts and the Fostering Geometric Thinking Toolkit with Mark Driscoll.  She serves on the curriculum development team for the Urban Teacher Center, a Baltimore-based teacher residency program. She was lead teacher of mathematics at City on a Hill Public Charter School in Boston where she also served as a mentor to teaching fellows and ran a support program for new teachers.  Prior to teaching, Ms. Kelemanik was a project director at Education Development Center (EDC) where her work focused on the improvement of mathematics instruction for children in urban settings.
