Elementary Literacy

Ms. Little joins BPE after spending the past 15 years working in a variety of roles in education.  Most recently, she worked as the Director of Elementary ELA Achievement for a charter school network in New York and Connecticut.  Prior to that, she worked as a first grade teacher, a second grade teacher, a Reading Recovery teacher and a Title I reading specialist.  She is currently finishing her doctorate in Teacher Education from Michigan State University where she had the privilege of teaching elementary literacy methods courses and supporting elementary teacher interns.  Also while at Michigan State, she was part of Launch into Teaching, a comprehensive new teacher induction program that supports new teachers nation-wide.  Ms. Little has a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Michigan and an Ed.M in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
