Boston Community Leadership Academy serves 451 students in grades 9-12; 27% are limited English Proficient, and 16% receive special education services.
Boston Community Leadership Academy (BCLA) is a pilot high school with a college preparatory curriculum and community leadership theme. BCLA offers small class sizes and a longer school day and requires all students to participate in exhibitions, portfolio presentations, and structured community service learning through a Senior Capstone Project. BCLA offers several electives in the arts, AP courses, and tutoring that supports students to achieve at high levels.
