Boston Green Academy

Boston Green Academy opened in September 2011 as a Horace Mann Charter School in the South Boston Educational Complex. It serves 340 students in grades 9-12 and will add grades 6-8 starting in 2012-2013.

Boston Green Academy strives to prepare all students for success in college and the 21st century workforce. With a focus on leadership, science, and global citizenship, the school encourages students to be leaders in environmental stewardship and activism, to live their lives responsibly and sustainably, and to be prepared to succeed in the growing “green” economy.
