CASH has 393 students in grades 9-12; 18% receive special education services, and 35% are English Language Learners.
CASH, a science- and health-themed high school, is one of Boston’s new small schools and is housed in the Hyde Park Education Complex. In addition to its extensive community partnerships, which offer support and internship opportunities for CASH students in the science and health fields, the school offers special programs for English Language Learners who speak Haitian Creole. An award-winning school and BPS Principal Fellows training site, CASH also has ten BTR graduates, Teacher Residents, and mentors working to advance the school’s goal of academic excellence. The Hyde Park Education Complex is also home to two other small high schools: Social Justice Academy and The Engineering School. All three schools are for students in grades 9-12.
