Fenway High School has 290 students in grades 9-12; 5% are limited English proficient, and 12% receive special education services.

Fenway is one of Boston’s small high schools, sharing space with Boston Arts Academy. One of the first pilot schools in Boston, Fenway has autonomy in five areas: budget, curriculum, governance, hiring/staffing, and the school calendar. This allows for extra flexibility in determining innovative approaches to teaching and learning, which at Fenway includes extensive external collaborations and a strong advisory program in which students are grouped together, with a core set of teachers and student support staff, for four years. The school’s academic themes are lifelong learning and community. BTR Residents, mentors, and graduates at Fenway work to further the school’s commitment to academic and personal excellence for all of its students.
