The Timilty Middle School has 714 students in grades 6-8. Over 22% of its students receive special education services, and 31% are limited English proficient.
Timilty MS is a citywide school, open to students from all Boston neighborhoods. It is an Project Promise School, one of four schools in Boston to receive state funds for an innovated extended learning time program. BTR Residents, mentors, and graduates at the Timilty are working to build upon the school’s strong sense of community and dedication to high achievement. Significant family involvement, a Saturday Scholars program, and targeted professional development for teachers enhance the school’s focus on student learning.
