Orchard Gardens K-8 School

The Orchard Gardens K-8 School serves 698 students in preK through 8th grade; 43% are limited English proficient, and 20% receive special education services.

Orchard Gardens, a pilot school, is divided into three small learning academies, and all students wear uniforms. With support from the state’s turnaround initiative, Orchard Gardens works with several external partners, including City Year, Citizen Schools and Mass 2020, to provide additional additional academic support to students through multiple extended day programs. Boasting a state-of-the-art building and ambitious faculty and leadership, Orchard Gardens has made significant strides in improving student achievement.
